Driven by her mantra, "Be inspired to be yourself and be inspired to empower someone else,"Patrice Brantley passionately serves as a Teacher and Community Licensed Mental HealthTherapist. Born in Miami, Florida, and committed to helping others, she shares her journey, starting with her early childhood which was filled with the struggles and heartache of witnessing both her mother and aunt become victims of domestic violence.As she grew into an adult, troubled by her past, Patrice set out to prevent and ensure that others would not have to face the same circumstances.
This would lead her to discovering her purpose in teaching and therapy, which in turn, inspired her to earn a Bachelor's of Science inEducation from Florida A & M University. She then also gained a Master's of Science inPsychology with a concentration in Mental Health from Nova Southeastern University.Today, living in Tampa, Florida, Patrice has served as a Teacher in the South FloridaEducational system, for well over 16 years now. With a desire to continue helping others overcome daily struggles, as well as their past traumas, she also provides counseling and educational resources, which even includes services for counselors, therapist, educators, and families through her site, PatriceBrantley.com.
While doing so, wanting to make a positive impact in the world, and also serving as the host of the renowned Podcast, The PatriceBrantley Show, it is her mission to promote faith and joy, equipping each of her listeners with the empowerment needed to gain fulfilling and meaningful lives.Outside of this dedication to others, Patrice enjoys listening to music, baking, and home decorating. She also loves spending her free time hosting weekly bible studies and various community events.
